To make workplaces in Taiwan better, 104 founder Rocky Yang established the Workplace Assessment Foundation in 2009. In 2016, the Foundation is extending its scope of service from workplaces to family balance and children’s talent and is officially changing its name to 104 Hope Foundation (the Foundation).
Seven purposes of 104 Hope Foundation are to advance employment safety, to correct work behaviors and attitude, to incubate talents, to assist workers in finding jobs, to facilitate balance between work and family, to strengthen children’s awareness of career development and their potential development and to promote labor rights.
To assist youths in improving professional skills, confidence and a sense of security toward the future and to value the elder generation’s experience and presence, 104 Hope Foundation calls on all walks of life to launch “Be a Giver” in 2016. The purpose of “Be a Giver” is to encourage office workers to help each other; when givers and takers meet in workplaces, the older generation communicates with the new one by passing on knowledge, skills and attitudes toward life and jointly lives up to the value of success.
